About the transfer tips

These tips follow the order you'd actually make a transfer: who to move on, where the fixtures are kind, then the best players to bring in. Everything covers the next three gameweeks, which is about how far ahead a single transfer pays off.

Sell watch lists high-scoring players (30 points or more this season) who are injured, doubtful or suspended, or whose team has one of the five weakest projected three-game runs (fewest projected goals and clean sheets). They're popular picks you may want to replace.

Teams to target are the five clubs with the best projected three-game runs: the most projected goals plus clean sheets, which reflects both the fixtures and how good the team is. Each one names its two best picks.

Best buys ranks players in each position by projected FPL points over the next three gameweeks, from the same model as the captain picks. Only players at 75% fitness or better who have played at least 270 minutes this season are included. The tags show set-piece duties and low-owned differentials.

The rankings ignore price, so check what fits your budget. The price changes page lists the best value players by points per million.

Questions

Should I take a points hit for a transfer?
Only when the player coming in is projected to outscore the one going out by clearly more than 4 points over the next few weeks.
Why three gameweeks?
Fixtures, form and fitness change quickly. Three gameweeks is far enough to see a run, close enough to trust.
Does it know my team?
Not yet. A "My team" view that works from your own FPL team ID is planned.
